Ganfeng Lithium and Jiangte Motor signed a lithium salt production line cooperation agreement

On August 19, 2020, Ganfeng Lithium announced that the company and Jiangte Electric, Jiangxi Jiangte Mining Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangte Electric, and Yichun Silver Lithium New Energy Co., Ltd. ( Hereinafter referred to as “Yichun Silver Lithium”) (the above three companies collectively referred to as “Jiangte Electric and its subsidiaries”) signed a lithium salt production line cooperation agreement in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province.

According to the agreement, Jiangte Electric and its subsidiaries intend to use lepidolite and spodumene to prepare lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and by-product production lines (including “the production of 5,000 tons of carbonic acid per year using lepidolite”). Lithium and by-products comprehensive utilization project” subordinate production line, “use spodumene to prepare 10,000 tons of battery-grade and industrial grade lithium carbonate, and 5,000 tons of lithium hydroxide expansion project” subordinate production line and “use lepidolite to prepare 10,000 tons of lithium carbonate annually The production line under the project”, hereinafter referred to as the “lithium salt production line”) and its land and factory buildings shall be delivered to Ganfeng Lithium for independent production, operation and management in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement, and enjoy all operating income and bear all operating losses . During the management period from October 1, 2020 to March 31, 2023, Ganfeng Lithium should pay a total of 192 million yuan (tax included) for cooperation management fees to Jiangte Electric and its subsidiaries.
